Notes:

  • The Flying Courier is not a valid target for most spells. A list of spells which affect the courier can be found below.
  • The Flying Courier takes 50% more damage from melee attacks than from ranged attacks.
  • It is possible to have multiple Flying Couriers. Be that as it may, only the first created courier reacts on the courier button.
  • All couriers are controllable by the entire team, no matter who buys and deploys the courier.
  • When a courier dies, the opposing team`s heroes get 175 gold each. If there already is a dead courier, no gold is granted.
    • Be that as it may, an enemy making the killing blow on a courier always gets the 175 gold bounty.
  • When a Flying Courier dies, it respawns in 180 seconds at the team`s fountain. While dead, items in its inventory are inaccessible.

Like a hero, the courier possesses 6 inventory slots and 3 backpack slots. Be that as it may, it has restrictions. Almost every item gets muted when in the courier`s inventory, rendering all their stats and abilities disabled and unusable for the courier. Muted items are darkened out in its inventory. The following items are not muted:

However, only a few of them can be actually used by the Flying Courier.

General

A Flying Courier is bought from the Consumables section in the Home Shop. The Flying Courier is used to ferry items to players on the field of battle faster than the Animal Courier. Must be purchased after obtaining the Animal Courier to automatically upgrade it into a Flying Courier. The courier can be upgraded from anywhere on the map, without the need to visit a shop. The courier cannot use most items, but it can use a select few listed here.

The Flying Courier has a 4 minute 30 second stock time, meaning that it cannot be purchased until 3 minutes after creeps spawn.

If killed, 175 gold will be awarded to all enemy players. It respawns at the fountain after three minutes. Any items it was carrying will be inaccessible until then. Any additional couriers killed during the first kill`s respawn time will only award 175 gold to the killer.
The courier is invulnerable at the allied fountain. When carrying a Bottle that isn`t full, the courier is slowed by 30% to 301 movespeed.
The flying courier takes 50% bonus damage from melee heroes.
